Re: Approval to attend Attacking AI (live online training)

Hi [Manager Name],

I would like approval to enroll in Attacking AI, a live online course taught by Jason Haddix of Arcanum Information Security. It runs on September 22nd and 24th, 2026, in two live sessions from 10AM to 5PM MST. The cost is $2,000 USD per seat.

As our organization adopts LLMs, RAG systems, and autonomous AI agents, we are taking on a class of risk our current testing does not cover. This course is built on real consulting engagements and hands-on research into attacking and defending AI systems, and it would let me assess those systems methodically rather than guessing at their exposure.

What I would be able to do afterward

What the course covers

The syllabus spans thirteen modules with hands-on labs throughout: AI adoption risk and common architectures, AI threat modeling, prompt injection (with a dedicated lab), LLM jailbreaking, privacy and ethics, AI red teaming methodologies, attacking AI-integrated applications, MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP LLM Top 10, emerging attack research, defensive countermeasures, and Arcanum's own assessment methodology and prompt injection taxonomy.

Cost and logistics

Bulk seats are available if we want to send more than one person. I am happy to write up a short summary and share the recordings with the team afterward so the value extends beyond a single attendee.

Thank you for considering this. I believe it is a direct investment in our ability to secure the AI systems we are building and buying.

Best regards,
